Remarks

The world's population is growing older, and this has become a massive problem. The demand for compassionate caretakers is constant, but there are not many young people who are eager to work in the aged care profession. As a result, robots are being researched to aid humans in the care of the elderly. The purpose of this section is to investigate the current physical and mental needs of the elderly, as well as the tasks and challenges faced by caregivers. It is discovered through an interview with caretakers and a study of various robots now in use that the optimum jobs for robots are identified, and also the ways in which humans and robots collaborate with one another.
