Mass migration wave of Hong Kong in 2019 and beyond

Ideation
A lot of residents moving out of Hong Kong due to the political situation. And this causes the mass migration wave. As a part of them, I aim to use this as my topic of the visualisation project to record and raise awareness of the migration situation in this few years. And I will split my project into 2 parts, for the 2D animation part, I will focus on the data with the mass migration wave, and for the 3D animation part, I will focus on how emigrants feel when they are moving out.
Storyline
Political Environment of Hong Kong become worse. A new security law was implement at 1 July 2020 and it sparked a serious of protest and a mass migration wave.
Number of emigrant keep increasing by year.
Although the is pandemic, the number departure from the airport is still high due to emigration of resident.
Everyone is leaving, and the population of Hong Kong keep decreasing.
A lot of people plan to leave in the future.
