Ideation

I built a short web game called 'Lonely life' in this mini-project for the company. The game is comparable to Google Chrome's dinosaur game. When the 'PLAY' button is pressed, the game begins, and the human model in the game continues to move to the left. To avoid the obstacles, the player can use the space bar to make the human figure jump.

When the person collides with the hurdle by accident, the hurdle turns red, but the game does not finish. It implies that life is full of obstacles, such as the hurdles on the runway, and that even if we are unable to overcome them, your life continues, much like the game that does not finish even if the hurdle collides.

Before designing this game, I spent a long time thinking about what kind of game I could make and how to make it more interactive. And then the Chrome Dino sprung into my head. This game is intended for people to play when they are not connected to the internet. Despite the fact that the browser is not linked to the internet, we can nevertheless feel as if we are connecting to the world through this game. By creating this game, I wish to convey to the players that we are still connected to the planet despite the pandemic.

This game is complete as a mini-game for passing the time. The game has audio, visual, and interactive components. It is simple and enjoyable to play. However, if the user plays this game for an extended period of time, they will become bored and lose interest in it. To improve the user experience, I believe that a counter can be added to the game to count the number of obstacles that the player has overcome and many levels can be created to enhance the game. By include these features, the player will get a sense of accomplishment from the game and will understand their progress in the game.
